Vogue Patterns Magazine

I got my Vogue Patterns Magazine earlier this week. The focus is on fall clothing. I am just not ready for fall! I also got a new Nordstroms' catalog yesterday and the focus is on fall. I got my Vogue Fabric Swatch packet also and the fabrics are for seasonal transition. Perhaps there is a hint that we should be starting our fall sewing.

As usual I have not tackled all the summer sewing yet and will continue to move forward on a few more summer sewing projects. Next up is skirts and blouse/tops.

  1. I've always hoped that I would sew a season ahead. It's never happened, but maybe someday.

  2. NO NO NOT FALL YET! We haven't had but 2 summer-weather days yet!

I got the Vogue magazine too and I put it away because it depressed me. I got out Burda WOF from July 2007 instead and cut out a strappy sundress which is already 3/4 done.

Not that I will be able to WEAR it any time soon. It won't be done for tomorrow and then we get another run of rainy dark cool days. Boohoo. Global warming WHERE exactly?

  5. For me, I just can't even think about sewing fall clothes when it is 100+ degrees outside (and will be that way probably for 2 more months!).
