For the back piece I sewed the dart with lining and fabric together. Underlining is fairly new technique for me. It is one that I am beginning to like more and more.

Underlining really makes a difference in some garments. It's a good technique. Looks like your dress is coming together. Beautiful fabric combo.
ReplyDeleteIt is coming together nicely. I tried underlining something once or twice and liked that you could simulate Hong Kong seam finishes. Summerset demonstrated that once and it makes it easy to work with them as one piece of fabric. Is this a work or play dress?
