Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. And very flattering on you too. I need to make this one up myself. What tweaks would you do next time? It seems as though all I do is make alterations to patterns these days.
ReplyDeleteI needed to make a forward shoulder adjustment. The bust was a little snug so I took a 3/8 seam instead of 5/8. So I think I will add a little just at the bust line.
DeleteWell, I like the neckline, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI like the neckline and the fabric! I looked at that fabric and thought that you would end up with bullseyes, it's nice to see that you don't. The print works so well in this piece. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI think the dots are so uniform that you would not end up with bullseyes! I wish I had more of this fabric, it sewed well.
DeleteMmmmmm classy!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteNothing like the perfect neckline! Super little top.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteNo wonder you are in love with the neckline ... It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love that pattern, and I love cowl necklines. Yours looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am liking this pattern so much that I have another one in the works.
DeleteCute top! What a unique fabric and colors. This is a cute one!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLooks fantastic! I love seeing this fabric transformed since I have been contemplating what to do with mine. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think there are two other bloggers with this fabric! It is nice to see how others make something using the same fabric.
DeleteCute top. It's a great neckline.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog! I have this pattern and that same fabric. I bought the fabric to make this pattern. How lovely it turned out for you. Can't wait now to do mine. I have made the pattern once already in silk charmeuse. I did a 5/8" FBA and rotated the dart to the neckline. I like it but I think I like your neckline better.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. I really do like this pattern and have plans to make a long sleeve version. I will be following your blog and hope to see your version of this.
