Crazy week so did not post much. Yesterday was my Friday, and today is the start of a holiday weekend.
I am making progress on the Emma Top and I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised. This top has a lot of gathers-front and back neckline and even the sleeves at the neckline. I took some photos of how I am handling the gathering of the fabric and will post those later.
I am off to get a mani/pedi. More later.

I'm excited to see your Emma top. How do you like style arc patterns? I am thinking of trying them. are they similar to Burda? Any help would be appreciated! thanks kathy
ReplyDeleteKathy, these patterns are quite different from Burda in that they come in one size only, which can be a challenge. I like the paper used to produce the pattern, easier to trace off of. The shipping charges from Australia to US is pricey but pattern price itself is good. I found this pattern to be a challenge only in that the instructions say match to markings on pattern and I think some markings are missing, and took a little bit to match the collar to bodice. This may prove to be a struggle for a beginner. Otherwise my first top is a winner.
DeleteThanks ahead of time for the gathering information.
