Skirt is cut out

I finished cutting out the skirt fabric early this AM. The skirt does not call for a lining but I am going to use the skirt pattern to cut a lining. I cannot wear wool without one. Besides skirts seem to hang and look better with a lining.

I really love this wool gabardine. It has great body without too much stiffness. I hope to get some sewing time one evening this week. Tonight I have a board meeting to attend and just taking a brief moment to post to my sewing diary.
