My fabrics

Here are the fabrics I am waiting for from Fabric Mart.
I got the goldenrod suiting fabric in solid and in multi-

I also wanted to try a fabric that is a polyester, looks somewhat like linen and imported from Japan. It is a butterscotch yet looks similar to goldenrod.
And then this one in green and teal.

  1. My package from Fabric Mart arrived two days ago. I got that Poly Butterscotch linen-look fabric and the hand is nice. It is a nubby, drapey weave, not firm, but will be quite nice for wider straight legged trousers or a skirt, or an unstructered dress. I am planning on a wide hemed straight legged pants and a 4 gore slightly flared A- line skirt. I'll change the grain line to run from center bottom to center top, rather than straight along the center front & center back for a better drape. I also got the Safari and Southwestern panels. I think the Southwestern panel print will be a shirt to wear with the pants and skirt. The Safari panel print was supposed to be pillows for the rec-room. But I think a skirt is in order. I ordered 4 panels so I may have enough for 1 pillow when I am finished.
