This is the front. It consists of wool roving, various yarns and colorful trim. This was based on a project in a needle felting book by Indygo Junction.

This a photo of the back.

This is a close up of the collar.

I was elected Treasurer today also. I have been in the chapter since moving here and have met some very nice sewists.
We had a fashion show with many of the members modeling numerous projects worked on this past year. It included pretty "Fan" Jackets as well as some other nice jackets, dresses and vests. I hope to try to enter something next year. Much of what I saw today was very inspiring. I must carve out more time to work on these special projects.
Tomorrow I will start on some quick Christmas sewing. I also want to continue to embroider my denim jacket.
Congratulations on becoming treasurer! Your jacket is very eye catching - how many hours did it take you to finish it?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and festive! Lots of work went into that one.
ReplyDeleteCompliments on your red jacket, it looks very festive and beautiful embellished.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, and isn't it fun?! Congratulations on your election.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry I missed it. I had a violin recital and a singing school concert. I bet everyone looked stunning.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket looks great!
