Chanel jacket

Well I finished cutting out my Vogue 7975 jacket pattern to make a Chanel like version. I pulled out my two Threads Magazine to re-read the articles on designer jackets and what's inside a Chanel jacket. Several other bloggers have been working on Chanel jackets. I found them to be most inspiring.

In addition to cutting out the jacket pattern, I have adjusted Vogue 7937 to fit and have the fabric ready to cut. This is a skirt pattern that has received positive reviews on PR and has four pieces with varying back views. I am using a black gabardine I purchased from Fabric Mart about two years ago.

This will give you an idea of the skirt and jacket.
