When plans go awry, backup and then move on.

Now that this is out of my system...I decided to go ahead with my plans to make this dress from the other fabric I purchased from JoAnn's. I had thought about making the jacket from this pattern as well to go with both dresses.

Here's an idea of the look. With the dress I will use the tie sash. This is the darker of the solid fabrics.

Here is the jacket. I purchased enough to have for the jacket as well as the trim on the Vogue dress.
